Cumberland Business First Program

Members 1st participates in a small business loan program in cooperation with The Cumberland County Economic Development (CCED) office. The Cumberland Business First program will utilize private funding from area commercial lenders. These lenders administer the program jointly and provide loans to eligible businesses within terms, rates and parameters established by CCED. Loans for up to 40 percent of a project’s total cost, from $25,000 to $250,000 at a fixed 5 percent interest rate, will be available to eligible businesses in Cumberland County. Eligible businesses must be located in Cumberland County, employ no more than 100 people, and be prepared to add new jobs over a three-year period.
