Regular Savings Account

This is the account you open when you establish your credit union membership. A $5 minimum opening deposit and balance is required.

Really Free Checking Account

We don’t charge per check fees, and there’s no monthly minimum balance requirement. Write as many checks as you need to each month; there’s no limit as long as you have the funds available in your account. And, for those “just in case” moments, be sure to sign up for overdraft protection. This allows available funds to be automatically transferred from your savings or other accounts to “cover” any problems that may arise.*

Visa Debit Card

This is not a credit card – it works like one, but accesses your Members 1st Checking Account. That means you must have funds available in your checking account to use this card. Use it at the ATM or any store, restaurant, gas station, or online – wherever you are, wherever VISA Debit Cards are accepted. Plus, you'll earn a nickel every time you use your VISA Debit Card as “credit.” This nickel rebate is our exclusive Swipe 5™ feature that pays you. Use your debit card as “credit” as often as you want – the monthly rebates add up!**

Student Visa Credit Card

We’ll give you a generous line of credit on this variable rate account and 0.5% cash-back on your purchases. If you are under age 18, a parent must co-sign on your account. There are no annual fees or hidden charges.

Members 1st Online

Manage your money online from any PC – make account transfers, check account balances, make loan and VISA payments. You can even request statement copies, view your electronic account statement, re-order your checks, view your cleared checks, apply for loans, and use Bill Payer for a nominal fee. A Members 1st Online Password is required for this service. Be sure to elect this service on your membership application.

No Surcharge ATM Network

Look for this logo for ATMs in the No surcharge ATM Alliance or go to www.cudollar.org for locations.

Telephone Services

EZ-Call is our automated phone service available anytime, anywhere. Just call (800) 283-4372 to access your account. You need a Personal Identification Number to use this service. Sign up for this when you complete your membership application.

TeleBranch is our telephone branch staffed by real live people who will assist you with account inquiries and transactions. Nominal fee assessed for some inquiries. Call (800) 237-7288.

Loans

Sooner or later, you need to establish a credit history. If you need a car or a computer, apply online with EZ Loan. Loans for tuition are also available. Your car or computer loan payment may be set up so that the payment is automatically deducted from your account so you never have to worry about missing a payment or being late.

Members 1st Education Award

Members 1st Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce a new award for college students. Six area students residing in, and attending an accredited college, university, or technical school in the local Members 1st FCU service area will have the opportunity to compete for the new Members 1st Federal Credit Union Education Award. Members 1st FCU believes that this new award program will not only allow more students the opportunity to receive an award to help with educational expenses, but it will also offer greater reward for the students in that they will obtain valuable work experience.
