Safe Deposit Boxes & Self-Service Security Boxes
We offer two different options to help you secure your valuables, important papers and various other items. Please note that availability of Safe Deposit Boxes and Self-Service Security Boxes vary by branch location.
What’s the difference between a Safe Deposit Box & Self-Service Security Box?
In practicality, they do the same thing – they offer you a secure option to store various items that you don’t want to keep in your house, your jewelry box or filing cabinet at home. You pay annual rent for either type of box depending upon the size availability.
Entry to a Safe Deposit Box is based on a two-key system and assistance from our branch associates. You, the box renter, has one key and we keep a different key at the branch in which you rent your box. While we do not have access to the contents in your box, our key simply opens one of the security layers that provide access to the vault in which your box is stored.
With a Self-Service Security Box, entry to your box is entirely a high-tech “self-serve” entry system. You enter a Personal Identification Number into the docking station and then place your index finger on the reader. This opens the safe room door that allows you to get an electronic key to open your box.
