Members 1st Named #1 Credit Union in PA from Forbes & Statista

Members 1st Federal Credit Union was recently named the #1 credit union in Pennsylvania as part of America's Best-In-State Credit Unions annual rankings. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.  

“We are humbled and honored to be included on this distinguished list for the second consecutive year,” said President & CEO George Nahodil. “The additional recognition of first in the state of Pennsylvania is a huge milestone for us and further reinforces our commitment to delivering unparalleled experiences for our members. We are so grateful to our members for their trust in us and to our associates for their continued dedication to our member-owners.” 

The survey was sent to approximately 26,000 consumers in the U.S. who were asked to rate credit unions they have or previously have had checking accounts with. A full assessment was completed on each credit union being evaluated in the areas of trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, customer service and financial advice. This year’s winners were chosen and identified after the independent survey results were calculated. 

Across the country, 171 credit unions were awarded a place on the list, which equates to about 3.4% of all credit unions nationally. Survey scores received by financial institutions around the U.S. determine where each credit union lands on the list. Last year, Members 1st was second on the list, with this year’s survey results bringing the credit union up to the first spot.
