Whether you have a short-term savings goal, or want the flexibility of a higher yield long-term saving opportunity, we have several types of Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) to suit your individual needs. For all IRA savings products, you may opt to make your deposits via direct deposit, by cash or by check. Certificate account terms range from 3 to 60-months. IRA accounts may not be opened online.

If you're just starting your retirement savings, an IRA product is a fantastic first step! By utilizing direct deposit, you can start saving for your retirement automatically by having your employer submit a portion of your earnings to your IRA.

We suggest you consult your accountant or financial advisor for additional details. With all certificate accounts, there is a penalty for early withdrawal. Certain products and rates are not available for public funds accounts, financial institutions or other institutional investors.

Traditional IRA (Individual Retirement Account)

We offer tiered savings options for you to make the most of your money for your retirement years. You may choose to open a certificate account with terms ranging from 3 months to 60 months, or a traditional IRA savings account.

  • If you are under age 50, you can contribute $5,500 annually.
  • If you are age 50 or older, you can contribute $6,500 annually.
  • Current year contributions may be made at any time.
  • Previous year contributions are accepted from January through April 18.
  • Contributions may not be made once you turn age 70½.

ROTH IRA (Individual Retirement Account)

This special retirement plan offers a tax break when money is withdrawn from the plan during retirement or other eligible events. Contribution limits are similar to the Traditional IRA. As long as you are earning reportable income, you can contribute into this account.

  • If you are under age 50, you can contribute $5,500 annually.
  • If you are age 50 or older, you can contribute $6,500 annually.
  • Current year contributions may be made at any time.
  • Previous year contributions are accepted from January through April 18.

Coverdell Education Savings Account

This specialized savings product helps you save and pay for qualified education expenses for the designated beneficiary on the account. This account features tax-free distributions providing they are used for qualified post-secondary education expenses such as tuition, books, or fees at an eligible public, private or religious school that provides elementary or secondary education as determined by state law.

  • Up to $2000.00 can be contributed annually provided the beneficiary is under the age of 18.
  • Current year contributions may be made at any time.
  • Previous year contributions are accepted from January through April 18.
