Members 1st Federal Credit Union is thrilled to announce that Cassandra Rhodes, Customer Service Quality Assurance Specialist, has been named the winner of the CrossState Credit Union Association’s CU Ambassador Contest.
Cassandra presented her project at the 2025 CrossState Connect Annual Convention on Wednesday, May 21, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Reflecting on her experience working closely with our Customer Service team, she confronted a common challenge—navigating many internal systems to assist members more efficiently.
Her innovative solution focused on streamlining system navigation, saving over 740 hours of search time over the past 10 months. This has allowed our Customer Service team to serve more members and build deeper connections. Additionally, thanks to improved searchability of information and usability enhancements, calls to our contact center supervisors dropped by nearly 35%.
The CU Ambassador Contest invites participants to present a credit union–focused idea that can positively impact their organization, members or community.
"Cassandra’s achievement is a wonderful example of the innovation and dedication our associates bring to our credit union each day," said Michael Wilson, President & CEO of Members 1st Federal Credit Union. "Her project not only improves the experience for our members but also empowers our associates to work more efficiently. We’re incredibly proud of her leadership and the impact she’s making."
