Members 1st Federal Credit Union has been recognized by TIME Magazine as one of America’s Best Financial Services 2026. Only 135 financial institutions earned a spot on the inaugural list, and Members 1st is the only credit union headquartered in Pennsylvania to be included.
This recognition reflects feedback from 20,000 U.S. consumers, who shared their experiences with financial service providers across multiple categories. Members 1st earned #3 for Best Checking Account and #9 for Best Savings Account nationwide.
“This honor really comes down to the trust our members place in us, the incredible dedication of our associates and the communities that inspire us every day,” said Michael Wilson, President & CEO of Members 1st Federal Credit Union. “Our associates show up each day focused on helping members reach their financial goals and feel confident about what is ahead. Being recognized on a national level is meaningful not just for our credit union, but for the members and communities we are proud to serve.”
Members 1st was also recently recognized as one of America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions 2026 by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group.
