Members 1st Federal Credit Union Celebrates Associate Achievements and National, Regional Recognition

Members 1st Federal Credit Union is proud to highlight the achievements of associates whose work and leadership continue to strengthen communities and advance the credit union’s mission at the national, state and local levels. 

Recent Honors Include: 

  • Members 1st was named one of America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions 2026 by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group, marking the third consecutive year the credit union has received this national distinction. The recognition reflects Members 1st’s continued commitment to delivering exceptional value and service to its members. 
  • President & CEO Michael Wilson was honored with the Edward M. Messner Inspiring Business Award from the West Shore Chamber of Commerce, recognizing his leadership style, relationship-building and ongoing investment in strengthening local communities. 
  • Shania Steele, Teller II, was named one of Harrisburg Young Professionals’ 20 in Their 20s, honoring young professionals making a meaningful impact in the workplace and throughout the Harrisburg community. 
  • Christine Pavlakovich, Chief Operating Officer, was recognized as one of Pennsylvania Business Central’s Women Making a Difference, an honor highlighting women whose leadership, resilience and commitment to service leave a lasting impression on their organizations and communities. 
  • Jim Mahler Jr., Relationship Manager Mortgage Originator, earned the distinction of the 2025 Affiliate of the Year by the Lancaster County Association of Realtors® (LCAR). The award reflects his dedication to supporting local realtors and his active involvement in LCAR committees, events and initiatives. 
  • At the Conference for Women, hosted by Events by Eye Candy, LLC, President & CEO Michael Wilson received the Agate Award, while Members 1st associates were also recognized as finalists, including Sara Elerman for the Goodwill Ambassador Award, Michelle Mowrer for the Care to Share Award, and Christine Pavlakovich for the Lifetime Achievement Award.
