We are proud to offer a free Shred Day event to our members. Take advantage of this opportunity to securely dispose of personal documents that may contain confidential information. Registration is not required. Join us at one of our five participating branch locations: Administrative Headquarters, Derry Street Branch, Mount Rose Branch, Greenfield Branch or Whitehall Branch.

helpful tips

Do...
  • Remove all rubber bands, metal objects and binder clips from your documents. Ensure all documents are removed from folders and binders. 
  • Ensure your boxes are easy to retrieve by one of our associates. 
  • Bring only two boxes per member. 
  • Please only place your documents in paper bags or boxes.
  • Always remain in your vehicle during the event. 
  • Have proof of membership ready to show an associate when you arrive. This may include your membership card, debit/credit card or checkbook. 
Don't...
  • Be late! Arrive early so you don't miss out. Shredding will begin at 9 AM and end promptly at 11 AM. 
  • Bring documents in plastic bags. 
  • Bring any non-paper materials. 
  • Drop off bags or boxes without an associate's assistance. These items will not be accepted. 
  • Leave your vehicle.

  • Old tax returns
  • Pay stubs
  • Credit union statements
  • Receipts
  • Utility bills

Please note that non-paper materials, electronics, magazines, phone books or cardboard will not be accepted.
