From Home to Heart: Meet the Logan Family
Every family has a story, and sometimes Members 1st is fortunate enough to help write them. A few years after welcoming twin daughters, Aggie and Lenny, members Ken and Lesley Logan felt called to adoption. Just nine months after applying, the phone rang and they needed funds quickly to finalize the process. Members 1st offered a creative solution to help them bring Jeanie home.

When my husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2023, I wanted to take a short vacation with him. I applied for a small loan at another bank where I'm a member, but even with a good credit score and a high-paying job, I was denied. Members 1st didn't hesitate to approve the loan and within an hour, I walked out of the credit union with the money. Sadly, that ended up being the only vacation I had with him, as he passed in December 2023. I'm so grateful to Members 1st for making that long weekend getaway possible during such a difficult time.

Built on the freelance work of Joe Trojcak, we have recorded bands and solo artists, created jingles and edited audio magazines with subscribers in over 50 countries. Members 1st's digital banking services allow me to transfer and monitor my business and personal funds across multiple checking and savings accounts, as well as a highly useful HELOC.
