Members 1st Federal Credit Union's Annual Golf Classic Drives Community Impact
Minute Read

Members 1st Federal Credit Union held its 29th annual Charity Golf Classic today at the Hershey Country Club in Derry Township, PA. More than 150 golfers and 69 sponsors came together to raise $163,000 in support of the Members 1st Charitable Foundation.
Funds raised through the outing will help the foundation continue its work by providing grants to nonprofit organizations across the credit union’s footprint. From helping families build stability through organizations like Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity, to supporting youth and individuals with disabilities through programs like Aaron’s Acres, each grant helps strengthen the fabric of our communities. Funding also supports organizations like Valley Youth House, which provides critical services and safe spaces for young people, and Someone To Tell It To, which offers emotional support to those who need someone to listen.
Since it was established, the Members 1st Charitable Foundation has awarded more than $700,000 in grants to local nonprofits, expanding the reach of this work and helping more organizations make a meaningful difference in communities across the region.
“This is one of those moments that really reminds us why we do this work,” said Michael Wilson, Members 1st President & CEO. “Behind every dollar raised is a person, a family or a community facing real challenges and that is something we never lose sight of. Seeing so many people come together to support our charitable foundation and the organizations doing this work day in and day out means more than I can put into words. It is how we turn compassion into real impact.”
Members 1st extends a special thank you to this year’s title sponsor, Rice Park Law LLC, whose partnership and generosity help make this event—and its impact—possible.
